Acheson Doyle Partners renovated existing space into a library within the Archbishop John Hughes Archive and Heritage Center at St. Joseph’s Seminary. The first floor program included a redesigned library and archive with offices and a computer center for digital media access. Window frames and glazing were replaced and new windows were integrated into the east facade where a seating area takes advantage of panoramic views. The space is accented with warm wood finishes and durable stone tile. At basement level, additional amenities include a meeting room, refectory and kitchen. The design incorporates features similar to the upstairs, with complimentary millwork and appliances.
