Acheson Doyle Partners led the design and construction of this full floor penthouse of a Manhattan Upper East Side luxury condominium. The 5,400 sf penthouse has floor to ceiling windows, and two spacious terraces totaling 3,400 sf that afford 360-degree views of Manhattan. The apartment features five bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms, a Great Room with a double-sided fireplace clad in Magny Le Louvre French limestone, a large, eat-in SieMatic kitchen with Bianco River Silestone and Pietra Cardosa stone counters, and a vaulted entry foyer. Other finishes include wide-plank quarter-sawn white oak floors in the Great Room, bedrooms and kitchen; Ivory Travertine and Namibia White marble flooring in the entry foyer; and Ivory Travertine and Cappuccino Onyx clad walls in the master bathroom matched with Ivory Travertine flooring. Walls and floors in the apartment’s other bathrooms are finished in a variety of rich marble and glass tiles. The terraces, with landscaping by Dirtworks Landscape Architecture, are covered with Ipe wood tiles and granite pavers; plantings are set in Ipe-clad custom planters.
