Acheson Doyle Partners was part of a consulting team with Johnson Controls Inc. and AKF Engineers to provide architectural services, MEP engineering and landmark consulting for the Empire State Building. The project was part of a larger effort to gain LEED certification for the building through energy and building services upgrades and building envelope restoration and renovation. The scope of services included Landmarks Preservation Commission approval and construction documentation for the addition of a co-generation plant. ADP provided renderings to the client and LPC, produced bidding and construction documents, and advised the consulting team in the bidding process.
