Notre Dame School

In 2001, Acheson Doyle Partners began a long-standing professional relationship with the Notre Dame School. Initial work consisted of working with the administration and staff to evaluate the existing facilities and develop a program for future improvements. As-built drawings were prepared, existing building systems were examined and a roof replacement strategy was developed. This led to a major design and construction initiative that included 12 new classrooms; new science labs; a new computer room, art room, faculty lounge, counseling center and library. Existing bathrooms were renovated. Subsequent work included a new chapel with the school and a refurbished auditorium that also doubles as the school’s gymnasium.
