ADP provided ongoing architectural services for the Pace Galleries of New York, including a comprehensive design and implementation of a 24,000 sf expansion project at the East 57th Street gallery. The expansion transformed the gallery from a 8,000 space to a 6-floor vertical gallery. Each floor was designed for a particular gallery department including main exhibition, prints, old master prints, primitive art, offices, library, archives and viewing. ADP completed the design of various exhibition, display, and art storage systems for multiple changing exhibitions. The various phases of the multi-million dollar project were completed over eight years, during which time Pace assembled the floors on an incremental basis. ADP also designed the downtown expansion of the Pace Gallery, adapting a 8,000 sf loft space for art exhibition use.
