Since 1987, Acheson Doyle Partners has provided architectural services for this 1927 New York City Landmark luxury residence and five-star hotel. ADP has provided design services for the lobby, retail, restaurant, hotel services, and back-of-house areas, and represents the Hotel in all of its dealings with the Landmarks Preservation Commission. ADP has assisted in renovating private apartments and in the design and decoration of over 75 hotel rooms. ADP has overseen the renovation and restoration of the corridors, circulation spaces, and entrances. Additional work includes coordinating building infrastructure upgrades, including new fire protection and sprinkler systems, new plumbing systems, new electrical systems, new mechanical systems, and upgrade of elevators. The Lobby, Fitness Center, Mezzanine Level, and commercial and retail tenants’ spaces have been renovated. ADP was the designer and filing architect for A La Vieille Russie and Emile Barbershop, and provided consulting and oversight for all renovation work undertaken by the commercial tenants.
