515E72 Street Condominium
Acheson Doyle Partners was Architect of Record for the conversion of a 41-story, 408-unit rental apartment building to a 326-unit luxury condominium in Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Interior finishes for typical units, many of the amenities spaces and the building entry were conceptualized by Bonetti Kozerski Studio. Pre-construction services included preparation of the Description of the Property and Specifications Report as well as a Zoning Analysis and preparation of a successful City Planning Commission submission for reconfiguring the building’s amenity spaces that created the residential penthouse unit.
ADP’s responsibilities included the development of new combination apartment units; preparation of construction documents for all apartment renovations and new unit construction; lobby renovation; a new entrance canopy and facade; Health Club renovation; the creation of a new spa and meeting rooms; an enhanced rear garden and the addition of a new rooftop garden. Additional work included construction administration; consultants’ coordination; planning assistance for infrastructure upgrades; the preparation of new Tax Lot drawings; and the coordination of all NYC Department of Buildings filings. ADP developed the design for a lobby Cafe and lounge, and the design for the penthouse.
The project began in 2005 and construction work on the overall building renovation was substantially completed in 2012. The penthouse was finished in late 2014.
