This 10,500 sf, two-story private residence, designed in the contemporary Hudson Valley gabled vernacular, is situated on a wooded 16-acre site with western views of the Catskill Mountains, and all of the primary rooms have panoramic views of the Hudson River. The house is organized around a two-story-high great room with a vaulted ceiling (framed in natural finish, glue-laminated arched beams) and a natural stone fireplace. The house has state-of-the-art services, including integrated data and mechanical systems and emergency generator. The walk-out basement approaches the gently sloping site, which descends first to a pond, then to the Hudson River. The house was completed in 2006.
