Acheson Doyle Partners Architects led the renovation and selective demolition of One Hanson Place in Brooklyn, New York. The 63-foot high banking hall with arched entryway was restored and the vault was renovated for commercial retail use. With Higgins and Quasebarth, ADP successfully navigated the New York Landmarks Preservation Commission review process and obtained necessary approvals for this Interior Landmarked project.
The full scope of this project involved implementing historically-sensitive modifications to the historic bank vault, teller cages, and lobby to prepare the magnificent space for retail and events.
During construction, the scope of work was modified by the Owner to accommodate potential tenants. ADP worked closely with construction management to insure costs were controlled and the project schedule was kept on track while implementing these changes.
Architect: Acheson Doyle Partners Architects. New York Landmarks Consultant: Higgins and Quasebarth.
