Emerging from a storied past, this former firehouse has undergone several substantial changes over a couple of centuries. The building became a private modern art gallery before experiencing an ongoing architectural transformation into a family residence. At one point the building housed the personal mountaineering library for a member of the American Alpine Club.

ADP is the Architect of Record for the renovation of this 5,250 SF building, rear courtyard and guesthouse. Architectural interventions include re-designing the first-floor kitchen and living room, second and third-floor bedrooms and basement fitness space, as well as upgrades to the interior courtyard, guest residence and rooftop terrace.

Architect: Acheson Doyle Partners Architects. Interior Design: Paul Latham Design.
